InSignLanguage is a pioneering accessibility-focused organisation delivering British Sign Language (BSL) interpreting services and innovative communication solutions for Deaf communities. Our mission is simple: Accessibility Changes Lives. We’re expanding our team to strengthen our engagement with public sector opportunities and strategic frameworks.

Role Overview: 

We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurements & Frameworks Manager to lead on identifying, managing, and submitting bids for government and large public sector contracts. You will also oversee the registration and compliance processes required to onboard InSignLanguage to relevant supplier frameworks. This role is crucial to our growth, enabling us to bring our services to more people and communities.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage Internal Information:

    • Maintain and organise all procurement and frameworks-related documentation.

    • Coordinate with internal teams to gather relevant information for bids and submissions.

  • Manage Applications & Submissions:

    • Research, prepare, and submit responses to public procurement opportunities (e.g. Contracts Finder, Find a Tender).

    • Track deadlines and ensure timely and high-quality submissions.

    • Review and interpret tender specifications, working with relevant stakeholders to respond effectively.

  • Attend Engagements:

    • Represent InSignLanguage in supplier days, buyer meetings, and framework briefings (virtually or in-person as required).

    • Build and maintain relationships with procurement leads and public sector contacts.

  • On-board New Projects:

    • Support the mobilisation of new public sector contracts won through procurement or frameworks.

    • Ensure compliance with onboarding requirements and contractual obligations.

 

Must-Haves: 

  • Deaf / fluent British Sign Language User 

  • Good understanding of written English 

  • Eligibility for Access to Work 

  • Legal right to work in the UK 

 

Skills and Experience Required: 

  • Demonstrated experience with public sector procurements and frameworks (e.g. CCS, NHS SBS, ESPO, local authority frameworks).

  • Excellent organisational and project management skills.

  • Strong written communication skills with experience drafting high-quality bids and submissions.

  • Ability to work independently, remotely, and across teams.

  • Confidence representing the company in professional engagement settings.

  • Familiarity with accessibility, language services, or social impact organisations is a plus.
