Video Relay Service (VRS) lets Deaf individuals make phone calls using British Sign Language (BSL). You connect with a sign language interpreter via video call, who relays your signed messages to the hearing person and interprets their responses back to you.
VRS is designed for Deaf and Hard of hearing individuals who use BSL as their primary language and wish to communicate with hearing people who do not know BSL. Whether you’re contacting a business, a service provider, or a personal connection, VRS makes the conversation accessible.
Our service is based and operated from the United Kingdom. The InSignLanguage App is initially available Monday to Friday from 08:00 – 18:00 however due to popular requests, we will soon be rolling out on a 24-hour basis.
