These Terms of Use govern your use of insignlanguage.co.uk (the "Site"). Please read them carefully. By using the Site you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

These Website Terms of Use are separate from our Terms & Conditions of Service, which govern the supply of interpreting, translation, training and other services.

1. About us

The Site is operated by InSignLanguage Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 10943637), with its registered office at 26 Domum Road, Portsmouth, PO2 0QZ. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under registration number ZC163713.

2. Acceptable use

You may use the Site only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• use the Site in any way that breaks any applicable law or regulation;

• use the Site to send, knowingly receive, upload or download anything that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, hateful or otherwise objectionable;

• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, the server on which the Site is hosted, or any server, computer or database connected to the Site;

• introduce viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other malicious or technologically harmful material;

• attempt to interfere with the proper working of the Site, including by overload or denial-of-service attack;

• scrape, copy, frame, mirror or republish any part of the Site without our prior written consent, except where permitted by these Terms or by law (for example fair dealing for non-commercial research or news reporting).

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site if we reasonably believe you are in breach of these Terms.

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, photographs, video, audio, BSL content and software — is owned by InSignLanguage Ltd or its licensors and is protected by UK and international copyright, trade mark and other intellectual-property laws.

You may view, download and print pages from the Site for your own personal or internal business use, provided you do not alter the content or remove any copyright or other proprietary notice. You may not use any content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.

"InSignLanguage" and our logos are trade marks of InSignLanguage Ltd. You may not use them without our prior written consent.

4. Information on the Site

We try to keep the Site up to date, but we make no warranty or representation that the content is complete, accurate or current. The Site is provided "as is" and we exclude all warranties, conditions and other terms to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Nothing on the Site is intended to constitute legal, regulatory, accessibility or other professional advice. If you need professional advice for a specific situation, please consult a suitably qualified adviser.

5. Booking forms, enquiries and accounts

Where the Site offers booking forms, enquiry forms or account-based features:

• you are responsible for the information you provide and must keep it accurate and up to date;

• you must keep any credentials we issue you confidential and must tell us immediately if you suspect they have been compromised;

• you must not submit information about another person unless you have their authority to do so;

• we may verify the information you submit before we provide any service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
