How to Apply

Step 1

Join Our Career Network

Access to Work + Interpreting Support

If you are placed into employment through the Career Network, your ongoing workplace interpreting support must continue through InSignLanguage under Access to Work.

We will support you with:

Understanding the Access to Work process

Your application and the evidence needed

Ongoing administration (including claims) to help prevent breaks in support

Important (exclusivity requirement):

During your Access to Work grant, you are required to use InSignLanguage (and approved partners) for all sign language interpreting services and related support, as set out in our guidance and agreements.

INDUSTRY‑STANDARD ASSESSMENT

Interpreting needs are assessed to recognised standards

Your communication needs will be assessed using InSignLanguage’s standard Access to Work consultation process, delivered in line with:

  • ISO 18841:2018 (Interpreting Services), ISO 17100 (Translation Services), ISO 9001, ISO 27001:2015, UK GDPR, and DWP Access to Work requirements

  • Interpreter professional registration requirements (e.g., NRCPD / RBSLI) and ISO-aligned assignment conditions
