Up to £14.50 per hour, plus £1.00 per hour for every hour worked beyond 44 hours a week.
£250 incentive for candidates at BSL Level 2 or above, or with native BSL, working 20 hours a week or more.
About us
One to One Support Services is a specialist staffing and support provider based in north Derbyshire, established in 2006. They support Deaf people, people with sensory impairments, children, families and vulnerable adults across communication, children and families, disability, elderly care, training and consultancy, and supply staff.
They also run their own training academy and are a Signature recognised centre delivering British Sign Language and sensory impairment courses.

Job Description
Support Deaf and hard of hearing people in their own homes and out in the community, using British Sign Language. Hours are flexible from 16 to 40+ a week to suit you, across Leeds, Sheffield, Doncaster, Chesterfield, Buxton, Huddersfield, Kirklees and the surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
Communicating with the people you support in British Sign Language, at a level and pace that suits them
Providing a responsive, customised service to people with sensory impairments, learning disabilities or additional needs
Supporting people in their own homes and helping them live as independently as possible
Accompanying people to appointments and into the community for social and leisure activities
Keeping accurate, up to date records of the person's wellbeing and progress
Attending service reviews, team meetings and training
Requirements
Essential: an ability to communicate effectively in British Sign Language.
Essential: some knowledge or experience of supporting adults or older people in their own homes.
Essential: the ability to work independently, and experience of providing customised care for people with additional needs.
Desirable: experience of working with people with learning difficulties or sensory impairments, and outreach experience.
Desirable: NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care.
Desirable: a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
This role requires a full DBS check, two references and confirmation of your right to work in the UK.
