Job Description

Are you looking for a career that makes a real difference? We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Reporting Manager to join our community hub team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the organisation's core operations and ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver timely, accurate month-end and year-end close with consolidated management accounts

  • Lead statutory reporting and audit delivery, ensuring FRS102 compliance

  • Own the balance sheet and financial control environment with full reconciliation

  • Provide technical accounting leadership on complex transactions

  • Drive continuous improvement and standardisation across reporting and systems

  • Lead and develop the finance team

Requirements

Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with FRS102 knowledge

Proven track record delivering statutory accounts and managing external audits

Strong experience with group consolidations and multi-entity reporting

Demonstrated ownership of month-end/year-end close and balance sheet integrity

Deep understanding of financial controls, governance and audit readiness

Ability to interpret complex accounting issues

Track record of driving process improvement

Strong leadership capability and finance team management experience

Excellent communication skills for senior stakeholder presentations

High attention to detail with a disciplined, accountable approach
