Job Description
Are you looking for a career that makes a real difference? We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated PBS Practitioner to join our community hub team, who will play a crucial role in delivering positive behaviour support and ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of services.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to PBS referrals in a timely manner, holding a caseload as prioritised with agreement from the PBS Team Manager
Complete functional assessments and implement PBS plans in collaboration with support teams and families as appropriate
Provide modular PASSPORT training to staff teams, as relevant to the needs of the people supported
Monitor implemented PBS plans, checking consistency of approaches and coaching/advising teams when inconsistency is evident
Raise concerns to the PBS Team Manager related to practice or an unhealthy culture within a support team
Promote the least restrictive means of support and the organisation's commitment to STOMP
Work collaboratively with the Assessment & Placement Team to support people moving into our services
Requirements
1st Degree 2:2 or above in Psychology, Health and Social Care, Applied Behaviour Analysis or PBS
Hold a BTEC Level 5 qualification (or equivalent) in PBS, or a commitment to completing it within an agreed timeframe
Work flexibly to support services, which may require working outside of office hours at times
Act in an on-call capacity from time to time at weekends
Willingness and ability to travel throughout the organisation
A full driving licence and ability to drive is essential for this role
