InSignLanguage at the British Embassy: Tech for Growth Paris 2025

Last week, InSignLanguage and InSign AI had the honour of participating in the Tech for Growth event at the British Embassy in Paris, a key moment bridging London Tech Week and VivaTech 2025.

Organised by the British Embassy, the event welcomed a delegation of 30 UK companies and AI incubators, all selected for their innovative work in technology and inclusive growth. It was a real privilege to be part of this inspiring group, sharing the room with some of the UK’s most forward-thinking scale-ups and digital pioneers.

The morning began with a warm welcome from Ambassador Menna Rawlings, who highlighted the importance of strengthening UK–France tech collaboration, especially in the rapidly evolving AI space.

Deputy Head of Mission Andrew Dalgleish officially opened the pitching sessions, inviting French corporates and public sector leaders to hear directly from the UK’s innovation ecosystem. The audience included key players from financial and professional services, telecoms and media, retail and luxury, and life sciences — making it a uniquely high-impact setting for cross-border conversations.

Our Business Development Consultant, Katja, introduced InSignLanguage’s mission: building a world where Deaf people can access information and services independently through smart, inclusive technology. From our 3D avatar-based BSL translation tools to our AI-powered accessibility products, we aim to reduce communication barriers and close the accessibility gap in everyday life.

It was a pleasure to speak with representatives from major organisations such as Capgemini, BT Group France, and HSBC, all of whom expressed a genuine interest in inclusive tech and the potential of our solutions. Several have already offered to connect us with relevant teams — a promising step toward real impact.

We left the Embassy inspired and grateful — not just for the connections made, but for the shared belief that technology can and should serve everyone.

We’re excited to continue the conversations sparked during this event and to build lasting collaborations that put accessibility at the heart of innovation.

Thank you to the British Embassy Paris and the Department for Business and Trade for this meaningful opportunity.
