Job Description
Are you looking for a career that makes a real difference? This Recruiter position is ideal for candidates seeking to start or build a career in recruitment, and welcomes applicants from high-volume, fast-paced environments such as call centres, customer service, retail, hospitality, sales or administration, with full training provided.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively attract candidates through targeted campaigns, social media, online advertising and candidate sourcing
Post adverts across multiple platforms
Manage recruitment activity within defined geographical regions, adapting methods to local hiring needs
Develop attraction plans for areas with specific recruitment challenges
Ensure smooth, engaging candidate journeys from application through to outcome
Create talent pools and build candidate networks for future vacancies
Build local relationships with job centres and community organisations
Support internal stakeholders with recruitment guidance and best practice
Use an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to maintain accurate, real-time records
Attend job fairs and recruitment events
Requirements
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Confident using systems and Microsoft Office applications
Comfortable speaking to candidates by phone in busy, fast-paced environments
Organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Positive, proactive, team-focused attitude
Confident building relationships with various stakeholders
Previous recruitment experience beneficial but not essential
